PERSONAL BIO

I am the wife to Robert and mother to Keyanna and Aayden.

We live on the edge of Nauwigewauk and Quispamsis (Gary Crossman was our MLA before he retired in April 2024).

We have been developing a beautiful property on Darlings Island (the old Teed-Hazen parsonage) for the last few years through our charitable work.

My husband, Robert, is one of my biggest encouragers in this campaign.  We are strongly committed to working hard to build a better world for this and future generations.

Our children and yours are a huge part of my motivation.

Much like you, I dream of a future for them that is prosperous, safe, respectful and kind.

I dream of a future where opportunities about, dreams have no limits and fear has no hold.

My father played NHL. My mother supported him and then, later in life was a high school administrator.

On my father's side, my great-grandparents were immigrants from the Jewish city of Berdychiv in Ukraine. They came to Canada to flee the oppressive government and build a free life for themselves and their children.  On my mother's side, my great-grandparents came from France and Germany.

My grandparents were pioneers who cleared, farmed, mined, and built in the harsh winter Canadian climates.

My sisters and I were raised to work hard, serve our community, and, most importantly, care about others.

I had my first job at the age of 12.

In my 20s, I worked 80 hours a week in the summer to pay for University. I built this summer job into a successful business and was honoured in my last year with the title of a top manager and the top salesperson in all of Canada

Because of this hard work and success, I graduated debt-free.

With no debt on my back, I decided to direct my energy into the non-profit sector in service orphans, children at risk and those fighting urban poverty.

Photos: Early Years of Non-Profit Work

Since 1997, I have worked in, directed and pioneered several non-profits to serve people experiencing poverty and disenfranchised, including NeighbourLink Vancouver, Hope for the Nations Liberia, 4 My Canada and now V-Kol Media Ministries.

During my humanitarian work rescuing malnourished children in Liberia, I saw firsthand how poor and corrupt governments hurt the innocent -- primarily children and mothers. This opened my eyes to the importance of good government. To this day, it is my core motivation.

I love people and have learned that good policy helps people. Poor policy hurts people. To me, it is that simple. If you love people, you work to make their lives better in any way you can.

I am delighted to share that over the years, through my non-profit work, the wonderful teams I have had the privilege to work with, and I have raised and successfully managed donor funds with clean external audits each year.

We sponsor at-risk children, have built wells, launched micro-businesses and sports courts in third-world nations, supported pregnancy care centres and actively partnered with other non-profits combatting human trafficking and anti-semitism.

I have also led a national advocacy movement teaching Canadians to build a better Canada through civic engagement (4 My Canada). This has included leading hundreds of young people to Canada's Parliament on leadership delegations to meet with our elected officials.

We even met with the Hon. Pierre Poilievre during his first year and office (photo bottom right)! We also met with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau the first year he was elected -- but we didn't take a photo of that meeting :).

Because I believe good policy is important, I have worked hard for years on various policy initiatives.

worked with MP Joy Smith at the federal level to advance bills to combat human trafficking.

I worked on raising the age of sexual consent from 14 years to 16 years federally.

I worked on Roxanne's Law and Molly's Law to protect pregnant women from violent abuse. I am actively doing what I can to support MP Rosemarie Falk's bill to support adoption.

In 2018, I developed a national Conservative think tank event called the Canada Summit for National Progress to feature some of our nation's most significant challenges and brainstorm innovative solutions.

I want to be a part of finding solutions for our nation. Through the summit, we have developed policy ideas surrounding economic recovery, healthcare preparedness, strengthening economic supply chains, and protecting Charter freedom rights.

In 2018, I wanted to be closer to home as my family grew, so I launched a national TV show called Faytene.tv. This enabled me to continue to speak to important issues for our nation from a stationary location. The show currently airs on 9 networks, 14 times a week, and on social media.

Everything I have done in my professional life since 1997 has focused on one thing and one thing alone:

Working to help others. It is what fuels me.

Currently, our non-profit work is focused on building a broadcast-quality studio and a community garden with the goal of growing enough food to help families experiencing food insecurity.

I BELIEVE...

I am a full spectrum conservative -- true blue.

That means I am fiscally conservative.  I believe governments have a duty to wisely steward taxpayers' money.

I believe in entrepreneurialism, supporting small businesses, supporting businesses, tax reform, and wise policies that lead to prosperity for the betterment of all.

I believe in developing and using our own national resources rather than importing at a premium from other nations with compromised human rights records.

I believe in freedom of conscience, expression, religion, and all the rights enshrined in Section 2 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

I believe parents should have the right to raise their children in accordance with their conscience and faith beliefs.

I believe in standing up for the most vulnerable among us.

I believe in building with the future in mind.

I believe in service and putting yourself in the line of duty for the sake of others.

...and...

I believe our best days are still ahead.

It would be my absolute honour to utilize my life and professional experience for the betterment of our community and to be a strong, hard-working & unwavering voice for our province.

I hope we can do this together, and I can count on your support.

Thank you for your consideration.
